There is an eclipsed full moon tonight on New Year’s Eve. It is called a "Blue Moon" as this is the 2nd full lunar eclipse with a month's time. It is said to be of mythical proportions—a real cosmic fireworks ushering in 2010.
This is to be followed by a series of meteor showers around the 3rd and 4th of January. May we be open to all that is descending upon us from Sri Aurobindo and the Mother at this time. Let us hope that the new moon will bring new beginnings for spiritual progress for all. May we let go of past 'shadows' making way for the light of the Divine's love, harmony and perfection.
